Task Force Laura

Hurricane Laura Disaster Response

On the early morning of August 27th, 2020, Hurricane Laura intensified to a category 4 hurricane and made landfall on the Gulf Coast areas of Texas and Louisiana. It was the strongest recorded hurricane ever to hit Louisiana. Infrastructure was destroyed by strong winds. Roofs were ripped right off the top of many homes. Thousands are currently displaced from their homes and many businesses are completely destroyed. A long recovery awaits ahead.

The Black 6 Project’s disaster response teams are currently in planning and sending resources towards the affected areas. We need your help to provide aid to many of the communities that were devastated by the path of Hurricane Laura. Please donate and help us bring the needed supplies and volunteers to ease the burden of our fellow brothers and sisters.
