The Black 6 Project is always looking for individuals or groups motivated to offer their assistance in accomplishing their mission. We are a veteran ran organization but are membered by many civilians that bring their many talents and hard work. That means we are not looking for veterans only. If you are someone that’s looking for a place to belong and taking care of those in need may be one of them, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Do I have to be a veteran?
We are veteran run, but we are NOT veteran exclusive. We appreciate and welcome all occupations
and backgrounds.
How are we funded and how do we plan to raise more funds?
The Black 6 Project is self-funded and donor supported. We are a grassroots organization that started in the EMS community and are actively branching out. If you can help contribute in raising funds/awareness/publicity, we are looking for you!
How can I volunteer with the Black 6 Project?
You can join us on one of our medical recon missions, help us organize and collect supplies/equipment, or you can help us raise funds and awareness.
What are the benefits of becoming a volunteer, as opposed to a donor or supporter?
As a volunteer you will be one of those involved in the actual mission, you will be active in our planning and orientation sessions, and will be on the ground with us either at home raising funds and awareness, or on a deployed team to an action area.
You will also be able to enroll in any future training exercises and lessons we conduct, which can vary from orientation/navigation classes, to basic first aid and more. Enrollment is not a condition of membership however.
What do we provide for our volunteers?
We take care of the logistics, planning, interagency coordination and leadership. You provide your skills and dedication. Pretty simple, right? Just remember though, these missions require a degree of perseverance and tenacity. We will also provide motivation and support every step of the way.

during these trips.
What will be required of me?
It depends. How can you contribute?
You will be telling us your capabilities to help, and as such we will need you to be completely honest and forthright with your abilities and availability. We understand that you may be in work or school or both, or have family commitments that might tie you down, but if you can be upfront with what you are able to contribute that will go a long way.
Where do we stay and how are we getting food, medical aid and communication?
We work with local officials and residents to provide housing, food and communications. However, these parameters vary from mission to mission and are also dependent on availability and funding. Our goal is to utilize local resources when possible, and if not, bring what is necessary for mission accomplishment on our own.
