In partnership with the Philippine Consulate General of New York, this online class will be taught virtually to the Asian community in an effort to help keep its members safe. In New York City alone, anti-Asian hate crimes have risen 361% from 2020 to 2021 with the majority of the victims being elderly and female members of the Asian community.
The Black 6 Project will be giving online instruction on basic self-defense tactics that can help reduce the chances of harm.
