Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica as a catastrophic Category 5 storm, unleashing winds over 180 mph and relentless rain that tore through towns and villages alike. Among the worst devastations was the destruction of Black River Hospital, the primary public medical facility serving thousands in the region. With homes flattened, roads impassable, and access to care cut off, families are now struggling to find safety, medicine, and shelter. The storm has left behind not just physical ruin, but a deep humanitarian crisis across the island.

In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa, Black6Project is deploying to Jamaica to provide immediate humanitarian aid, medical support, and disaster relief. Our volunteer teams are working closely with local organizations and emergency services to deliver essential supplies, offer medical care, and assist in rebuilding critical infrastructure.
