Friday, June 16th was our first fundraiser at Kings Tavern in Brooklyn. Festivities kicked off at 7pm and we had a blast. EMT’s Asim Kumandan and Fahad Kashem were manning the grill and cooking up their specialties of Beef Sliders and Tandoori Chicken.
Doty’s Filipino Restaurant donated some delicious Filipino food of lumpia and sisig. We thank you so much for bringing a taste of Philippines to our cause. Visit them in Queens Village for some great homestyle Filipino food.
We had numerous activities including a temporary tatoo station, raffle prizes, and our favorite; PIE FACE SHOWDOWN Tournament.
We would also like to thank Fults Family Vineyards in donating wine for our raffle as well as for our celebratory opening toast.
We would also like to thank our sponsors at Gottcha Towing and Phantom NYC for helping us fund and throw our first annual fundraiser.
The funds we’ve raised because of you all allows us to buy the equipment and medical supplies we need to bring proper care to the poor and neglected regions of Mindoro, Philippines. The Black 6 Project’s NAS Team will be leaving July 31st, 2017 to assess the areas of Mindoro we plan to deploy to. Stay tuned! We thank you all again for showing your support in bringing this organization to life.
