Landed at 5:30am. Cleared customs and sat in traffic for an hour.
Manila is a huge city.
Without the google I’d guesstimate the population at 15mm people. Streets are relatively narrow by New York standards but no less crowded. Since we’ve landed it’s been a constant warm drizzle that reminds us that it’s rainy season. 90 degrees in the shade.
Luckily our entire crew and gear are staying overnight in an icy cold airbnb with a great view and bunk beds.
Today we will go out in search of supplies and more equipment.
Tomorrow we begin the push to Mindoro.
Update to follow.
